Hands clammy, heart pounding, head swirling, legs shaking. I walk towards the cart and buckle in. My sweaty hands grip tight. Light surges through the end of the tunnel as I gaze out at the spiraling roller coaster tracks awaiting me. With a jolt I fly back in my seat. Eyes wide with terror. Flying across the tracks. We soon approach the loop. Flying up twisting upside down disorientating myself momentarily. Corkscrewing round and round before whizzing down a massive drop. The ride ends and I hop of feeling faint. “Wow” I think “we were moving very fast when we went down the slope”
This is a great read, Anna. The verbs you have chosen have added to your imagery. I feel like I am on the ride! Well done.
